Coastline Northern Cuts is an independent record label from Gdańsk, Poland, dedicated to presenting music that blurs boundaries – from leftfield electronic and experimental to jazz-inspired sounds. Founded in late 2018 by Tomek Hoax and Marcin Szulc, CNC has already released 26 albums on vinyl, CD, cassette, and digital platforms worldwide.

In 2023, we celebrated our 5th anniversary with a special double compilation CNC:5Y featuring exclusive tracks and remixes from all of our artists. Almost all of our musicians come from Poland, shaping a unique and distinctive voice in today’s independent music scene. Our catalog includes works by Klawo, Pin Park, Maciek Polak, Antonina Car & Niczos, SK.EIN, Artificialice, Gaijin Blues, Dalekie, Resina and many more, with two albums nominated for the Polish music award Fryderyk.

At CNC, we value quality and aesthetics in every release. We are now looking to enter the Japanese market, to build lasting relationships with listeners and record shops in Japan who share a love for independent music. For larger orders, we are open to preparing Japan-exclusive editions – CDs, cassettes, or vinyl featuring Japanese liner notes or unique artwork.

Our artists perform internationally – for example, Klawo recently played two shows in Osaka – and we believe our catalog resonates with adventurous listeners in Japan.
